PxP with UNICEF in Iraq 2017

Unrest in the region has made hundreds of thousands of children unable to go to school—this includes Syrians who continue to seek refuge in neighboring countries. Using funds raised during the PxP Festival, PxP Embassy partnered with UNICEF to deliver school supplies to temporary learning centers in camps and in host communities.

In order to give children a chance to play and learn for a few hours a day, UNICEF helps set up provisional classrooms. Using PxP’s donations, UNICEF was able to give 5,600 backpacks and 5,665 schoolbooks to children in Iraq.
