PxP with UNICEF in Syria and neighboring countries 2017

Using funds raised during the PxP Festival, PxP Embassy partnered with UNICEF to supply Syrian children with school supplies and alternative education opportunities. 

An entire generation of children in Syria and its neighboring countries are suffering the consequences of one the worst civil wars in recent decades. Around 6 million children and young people are still caught between the fronts. UNICEF provides assistance to children on all sides of the conflict with clean water and medical care. For children who are denied access to a public school, alternative learning opportunities have been created, such as the Makani centers in Jordan. As a result of this partnership, Syrian children received 19,340 notebooks, and 100 Syrian children seeking refuge in Jordan were able to visit a Makani Center for one year.
